    About Molen de Hoop
    Molen de Hoop is a tall windmill built in 1850 by H.B. Meyer and taken over two years later by the Pijnappel family, who owned it for many years. Since September 2014 In September 2014, Jan and his wife Henriëtte transferred the expanded business, Grutterij-Molen 'Molen de Hoop' Oud-Zevenaar, to the current managers: Frits manages the milling and accounting, while Maaike oversees day-to-day operations and curates a range of premium and gift items. Though demanding, the work feels more like a labor of love for the family, and together they keep the mill’s wheels turning.

    Molen de Hoop supplies premium flours, meals, bread mixes and cake mixes that are popular with hobby and professional bakers alike, many of whom shop through Baktotaal.



    recipe
    1. Whip 500 g of unsweetened whipping cream until it becomes “lobbig” (i.e. not too stiff but “yoghurt” thick).
    2. In a separate bowl, combine 125 g bavarois mix with 100 g (cc) of 20 °C water until smooth, then gently fold this mixture into the whipped cream.
    3. The bavarois is now ready to use. After about 1 hour it will firm up, and you can freeze it if desired.
