    Molen de Hoop Boerenjongens Cake Mix 400 g
    If you love rum-soaked raisins (boerenjongens), this unique mix is perfect for you. Whip up a delicious cake at home with just eggs and butter. Garnish each slice with a dollop of freshly whipped cream for an extra touch of indulgence.

    Recipe for a 1.5-litre cake:
    You’ll need 400 g of mix, 180 g of eggs (about 4 medium eggs) and 190 g of soft margarine or butter.

    Method
    1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (fan oven 150°C).
    2. Beat the soft butter or margarine until smooth and creamy.
    Add the eggs and the cake mix, then beat on medium speed for 2–4 minutes until you have a smooth, well-combined batter.
    4. Pour the batter into a 1.5-litre cake tin and bake for 60–70 minutes.
    For optimal flavour development, bake the cake approximately 12 hours before serving.
