    Molen de Hoop Chocolate Cake Mix 500 g
    Simply mix with a few common pantry ingredients, pour into your preferred pan, and bake until moist and fudgy. The blend includes real chocolate chips for extra depth of flavour. Once cooled, drizzle or spread with rich chocolate ganache for the perfect finishing touch.

    Recipe
    Simply combine 500 g of mix with 100 g of eggs (about 2 large eggs) and 100 ml of water.

    Method
    1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan oven 150°C).
    2. Whisk together the eggs and water in a mixing bowl, then incorporate the cake mix until evenly combined.
    Mix until smooth for 3–5 minutes on medium speed.
    4. Grease a 1.5-litre cake tin and pour in the batter.
    Bake for 50–60 minutes.
    If using a paper baking tin, reduce the temperature by 10°C and bake for 5–10 minutes less.

    About Molen de Hoop
    Molen de Hoop is a tall windmill that was built in 1850 by H.B. Meyer and taken over by the Pijnappel family two years later. The mill has been owned by this family for many years. In September 2014, Jan and Henriëtte transferred the expanded business, Grutterij-Molen “De Hoop” Oud-Zevenaar, to the current managers: Frits manages the milling and accounting, while Maaike oversees day-to-day operations and curates a range of premium gift items. Though demanding, the work feels more like a labor of love for the family, and together they keep the mill’s wheels turning.

    Today, the mill supplies premium flour, meal, bread mixes and cake mixes that are popular with hobby and professional bakers alike, and are proudly featured in the Baktotaal range.
