    Oval Reed Proofing Basket 21x13x8cm
    The Oval Reed Proofing Basket 21x13x8 cm is a compact proofing basket made from natural reed that helps to support bread dough whilst it rises. This type of basket, also known as a banneton, ensures that shaped bread dough retains its shape during the second rise. The reed also leaves a characteristic pattern on the bread, giving it a rustic and artisanal look.

    The oval shape is ideal for smaller, elongated loaves such as batards, country loaves or sourdough bread. This size is suitable for dough pieces weighing approximately 500 to 750 grams. Lightly dust the basket with flour before placing the dough inside so that the bread comes out easily after proving.
