    Product information

    Patis Decor Yellow Pectin 125g
Patis Decor Yellow Pectin 125g is a gelling agent that creates a firm, cutable texture in fruit jellies and confectionery. This pectin forms a solid gel that does not remelt when heated, ensuring your preparations retain their shape.

Use this pectin for preparations with a high sugar content (from around 76%) and a slightly acidic balance. Perfect for making pâte de fruit, classic fruit jellies and fillings for biscuits and cakes. Think of firm fruit cubes, a filling that stays neatly in place in biscuits, or decorative elements that you can cut cleanly. This pectin is also suitable for long-cooked jam if you want to achieve a firmer result.

How do you use pectin? First
mix the pectin with sugar or other dry ingredients and add this to a warm liquid whilst stirring. Continue stirring until it has completely dissolved (approximately 15 minutes). Use approximately 1 to 1.7% of the total mixture, depending on the application.
