    This wholemeal wheat flour is milled from red winter wheat, grown in the Silvoldse Slaege in the Achterhoek. This area is known for its fertile farmland, created by past flooding. Since 2005, various heritage grain varieties have been grown here, suitable for baking bread and other baked goods. The result is a pure flour with no additives, boasting a full-bodied and robust flavour.

    Red winter wheat gives the flour a nutty character and a firm texture, making it highly suitable for baking bread and sourdough bread. The flour provides a good basis for rising and a firm crumb. Ideal for artisanal breads such as sourdough or floor-baked bread.

    Molen de Hoop
    Molen de Hoop, founded in 1850 and based in Oud-Zevenaar, processes these grains into high-quality flour. The mill is currently run by Frits and Maaike Botter, who ensure a carefully milled and reliable end product.
