Molen de Hoop Advocaat Chocolate Cake 400 g
This convenient mix makes a rich, moist cake with authentic advocaat flavour and a generous swirl of chocolate chips.



Ingredients:sugar, wheat flour, cocoa mass, cocoa powder (skimmed), glucose syrup (dried), wheat starch, maltodextrin, dextrose, natural flavouring, emulsifier (E472b, E472e, E471, E482, E477, E322), natural flavouring, thickening agent (E415, E414), salt, milk protein, flavouring (wheat), glazing agent (E904, E414), colouring (E100), raising agent (E450, E500).



Nutritional information per 100 g (mix only):Energy 1583 kJ / 378 kcal; Fat 2 g (saturated 1 g); Carbohydrates 82 g (sugars 49 g); Fibre 2 g; Protein 5 g; Salt 0.7 g.

Please note that these values apply to the mix alone and will change once additional ingredients are incorporated.


Recipe:Combine 400 g of this mix with 200 g eggs (about 4 medium eggs) and 220 g soft margarine or butter. Method: Mix all ingredients together and beat on medium speed for 4–5 minutes. Pour the batter into a 1.5-litre cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 150–160°C for 60–70 minutes (if using a paper tin, bake at 150°C for 50–60 minutes). Reduce the temperature by 15°C for convection ovens.
