Each shell measures a generous 7 cm in diameter, giving you plenty of room for creative fillings. Simply pipe your chosen ganache, buttercream or fruit filling between two shells and sandwich them together. Each box contains 64 individual shells (enough to assemble 32 full macarons), and the shells are pre-baked with a reduced moisture content to ensure a long shelf life.

The reduced moisture content ensures a longer shelf life, and once the filling is added the centre will soften slightly as it absorbs moisture from the ganache or crème.

Once filled, the macarons can be frozen if your chosen filling is suitable; when thawed, the outer shells will soften slightly due to condensation.
