Rice paper / Rice sheets Ø16cm 500g are thin, round sheets made from rice flour that are widely used in various Asian dishes. When the sheets are briefly moistened with water, they become soft and pliable, making them easy to fill and roll. Thanks to their compact 16 cm size, these rice sheets are ideal for smaller bites, snacks or individual portions.

These rice sheets are often used to make spring rolls or Vietnamese gỏi cuốn, where the sheets are filled with vegetables, rice noodles and other ingredients. You can also use them to make small spring rolls by deep-frying the filled rolls, creating a crispy exterior. Furthermore, rice sheets are suitable for creative dishes such as rice paper pizza or stuffed rice rolls.

Rice paper flowers
Rice sheets are also suitable for making decorative flowers for cakes and desserts. By lightly moistening the rice sheets, they become pliable and can easily be placed in small moulds or baking tins to form petals. The sheets retain their shape as they dry.

Once dry, the flowers can be coloured with edible food colouring or dust powders. This allows you to easily create delicate flowers that can be used as cake decorations or cupcake toppers.
