    With RUF Chocolate Muffin Mix, you can bake moist muffins in the popular American style. The carefully balanced recipe ensures a light texture and an intense chocolate flavour. Extra chocolate chips give the batter a special touch and add attractive accents to the finished baked goods. The result is evenly baked muffins with a full-bodied cocoa aroma and a typical American look.

    Whether for birthdays, coffee tables or as a sweet surprise in between meals, these chocolate muffins impress with their aromatic richness and versatility. Served plain or individually decorated, they provide the ideal basis for creative baking ideas. A practical baking mix for anyone who wants to make classic chocolate muffins with ease.

    Preparation

    Preparation temperature

    • Top and bottom heat: 200 °C
    • Fan oven: 180 °C
    • Baking time: approx. 18–20 minutes
    1. Prepare the batter: Preheat the oven. Put the baking mix, 2 eggs (size M), 150 ml cooking oil and 100 ml water or milk in a bowl. Mix briefly on the lowest setting, then mix on the highest setting for approx. 1 minute until creamy. Set aside 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips and fold the rest into the batter.
    2. Fill the cases: Arrange the muffin cases on a baking tray. Fill evenly with the batter and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips.
    3. Baking and cooling: Bake the muffins on the middle shelf, test with a skewer and leave to cool on a wire rack.
