Molen de Hoop Chocolate Muffin Mix 500 g
Chocolate muffins—who can resist them? Create your own delicious chocolate muffins with this convenient Molen de Hoop mix. Simply add a few fresh ingredients and follow the easy step-by-step instructions on the pack. For an extra indulgent touch, fold in chopped chocolate just before baking—the aroma will be irresistible.

Recipe
For best results, combine 500 g of mix with 165 g eggs (about 3–4 eggs), 110 g water at 22–24 °C and 150 g vegetable oil; add up to 100 g of your chosen filling if desired.

This versatile non-stick baking mat offers even heat distribution and effortless release for everything from delicate pastries to sturdy breads. Crafted for home bakers and professionals alike, it provides a durable, easy-to-clean surface that eliminates the need for excess flour or oil.

Method1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven 160°C).
2. Place the muffin mix, chocolate, eggs, water and oil in a mixing bowl and blend on the lowest speed for 1 minute.
3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, then beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
4. Gently fold in any desired inclusions such as nuts, chocolate chips, candied cherries or other mix-ins.
5. Portion the batter into prepared muffin tins and bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes.

About Molen de Hoop
Molen de Hoop is a tall windmill that was built in 1850 by H.B. Meyer and taken over by the Pijnappel family two years later. The mill has been owned by this family for many years. In September 2014, Jan and Henriëtte passed the reins of the expanded enterprise, Grutterij-Molen “De Hoop” Oud-Zevenaar, to the present managers: Frits manages the milling and accounting, while Maaike oversees day-to-day operations and curates a range of premium gift items. Though demanding, the work feels more like a labor of love for the family, and together they keep the mill’s wheels turning.

Today, the mill supplies premium flour, meal, bread mixes and cake mixes that are popular with hobby and professional bakers alike, and are proudly featured in the Baktotaal range.
