    Frost Form Cake Coating Kit Round 18 cm
    This handy kit helps home bakers and professionals create perfectly straight, evenly coated layer cakes every time. The complete set includes all the tools you need for stacking, filling and decorating, so you can build a perfectly round 7-inch (18 cm) cake with minimal fuss.

    Preparation
    Wash the liner with warm, soapy water, then hold each side under warm running water for a few minutes to straighten it and prevent curling.

    Assembling a layer cake
    Bake your cake layers, then chill them overnight for stability. Use a round cutter to trim each layer to a clean, even height.
    1. Pipe a thin layer of buttercream onto the base, position the liner on top, then centre the cutter and liner together.
    2. Pipe a generous layer of buttercream onto the base and press the first cake layer firmly into the Frost Form.
    3. Spread a layer of buttercream on the cake, then gently press the next layer on top. Repeat until you reach the final cake layer.
    Once all layers are stacked, gently lift the cutter to confirm the cake is straight, then refrigerate until firm.
    5. Gently slide the ring upward to release it, then peel away the liner.

    Coating the cake
    1. Set a narrow dowel or similar support in the clear acrylic mould, then center the cake on it. Line the mould with the included liner.
    2. Gently slide the clear mould upwards and secure the liner in place.
    3. Pour the coating over the cake.
    4. Once set, lift the mould and liner off the cake by returning it to the narrow support.
