Frost Form Cake Coating Kit Round 25 cm
This convenient kit makes it simple to create beautiful, professional layer cakes at home or in the bakery. Use it with chocolate, vanilla, lemon or any other flavour cake, then finish your creation with buttercream, ganache or your preferred decoration. The set is sized to produce a 10-inch (25 cm) round cake.
Preparation
Before use, wash the liner with warm, soapy water, then hold it under warm running water for a few minutes to ensure it stays flat and prevents curling.
Assembling a layer cake
Bake your cake layers, then chill them overnight. Use the included cutter to trim each layer into perfect, even rounds.
1. Spread a thin layer of buttercream on the base, position the liner on top, and ensure it’s flat and centred.
2. Pipe a thin layer of buttercream onto the base, then press the first cake layer firmly into the Frost Form kit.
3. Pipe another layer of buttercream on top, then add the next cake layer and repeat until all layers are stacked.
4. Gently raise the cutter to confirm that the cake is straight, then chill the entire assembly in the refrigerator or freezer.
5. Gently lift the cutter straight up and peel away the liner.
Coating the cake
1. Set a narrow, stable item in the centre of the clear mould, place your cake on top, then add the liner.
2. Gently lift the clear mould, then press the liner firmly against the cake.
3. Pour your chosen coating over the cake.
4. Return the cake to the narrow support, then lift off the mould and liner together.
